Course Details
The DCNX7K – Configuring Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches v3.1 course is designed for systems and field engineers who install and implement Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches. It covers the key components and procedures that you need to know to configure, manage, and troubleshoot the Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switch platform. Through hands-on labs using Cisco NX-OS Release 7.2, you will gain an understanding of the day-to-day operation of the switches, including key features and functions.

Objectives
Upon completion of the course, students will have the knowledge and skills to:
- Identify the architecture, features, and deployment models of the Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches
- Describe the hardware architecture, perform hardware installation, and configure device administration features and functions including vPC, FCoE, FabricPath, VXLAN, NX-API, OTV, LISP, ITD, and MPLS
- Configure the relevant management tools and use key troubleshooting features on the Cisco Nexus 7000 Series Switches
- Configure the security and Quality of Service (QoS) features
- Identify the networking and storage features and configure, manage, optimize, verify and troubleshoot them
