Course Details

The Mobile Access Networks course provides an understanding of 2G and 3G mobile network architecture and main network elements. This course also analyzes architecture, protocols, and performance both for GPRS and UMTS data service. This course also describes the WCDMA. Finally, particular attention is paid to the UTRAN network features and core network signalling protocols for UMTS radio resource allocation.
