Course Details
The SSSE – Security Solutions for Systems Engineers v3.0 course is an instructor-led training that covers the Advanced Security SE Specialisation. The Security Solutions for Systems Engineers training is part of the Cisco Channel SE Program. The SSSE course will form the basis for the Security Cisco Qualified Specialist certification.
This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to identify network security threats found in today’s networks, and explain security concepts to design a secure, scalable and reliable network. Students will be able to design secure networks with Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) and describe the available management products to manage secure networks.

Objectives
After completing this course the delegate will be able to:
- Describe the network security threats found in today’s networks
- Explain the security concepts to design a secure, scalable and reliable network
- Design security solutions with PIX and ASA security appliances
- Explain components of an IPSec VPN solution
- Design an IPSec VPN solution with VPN enabled routers and VPN concentrator
- Explain the benefits of Intrusion Prevention Systems
- Design secure networks with Intrusion Prevention Systems
- Describe the available management products to manage secure networks
