The Extreme Management Center training course introduces you to Network Management and Visibility using the Extreme Networks Management tool, Extreme Management Center (XMC), for managing network devices.
In this course, you will learn how to use the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Network Management Model (NMM), students have these concepts reinforced with a hands-on lab experience working with a pre-configured network. Students will perform real-world tasks around the areas of configuration, fault, performance, accounting, and security management functions.
This course is available as classroom and virtual instructor-led training.
Upon completion of this course, students will have gained the working knowledge to:
- Successfully configure and manage the Extreme Management Center network management tool
- Take the Extreme Management Center Specialist certification exam
Introduction
- Extreme Management Center (XMC) Server requirements and licensing
- XMC Client-Server architecture
- Accessing and navigating XMC including help and search tools

- Managing user’s authorization within XMC using groups
